A Little History
The International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi was first established in 1907 at the School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance at New York University by our four founding brothers: Alexander Frank Makay, Harold Valentine Jacobs, Alfred Mosello and Henry Albert Tienkin. Today, the premier business fraternity boasts over 180 collegiate chapters, 50 alumni chapters, and 200,000 members from California to New York and Hong Kong to Paris.
Our Purpose
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
