Since 1907, Delta Sigma Pi has fostered the development of professionalism into thousands of brothers worldwide. As the oldest professional fraternity at the University of California Berkeley, our lasting footprint is a testament of the level of commitment and brotherhood of our brothers and alumni to the fraternity that has allowed us to thrive so strongly.

The secret of our fraternity’s success is no secret. Brotherhood is the key principle that has allowed newfound friendships to form and people to develop into professionals ready to tackle life’s most difficult challenges. It is through brotherhood that we have helped our brothers develop into campus leaders, win several case competitions, become strong candidates for recruiters, and maintain a high acceptance rate into the Haas School of Business. Delta Sigma Pi will give you the opportunity to see the meaning of brotherhood on a level that will transcend far beyond your college years.

Membership into Delta Sigma Pi is a challenging but fulfilling journey. Just like all of your other rewarding experiences have required substantial effort, we expect each brother to work hard and sacrifice for other brothers and the fraternity. However, when these principles are met, there are few investments with a greater net benefit personally and professionally than as a brother in our chapter.

On behalf of the brothers of the Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, I welcome you to our Spring 2008 Rush. Delta Sigma Pi is the premier business fraternity on campus and offers unparalleled opportunities for leadership, brotherhood and professionalism. As you will learn throughout the rush process, the brotherhood of the fraternity runs deep and is what allows the brothers to excel in all areas.

The brothers of Delta Sigma Pi are some of the best and brightest in the Haas School of Business as well as leaders around the campus as a whole. Our fraternity has consistently produced candidates going to the top firms in all industries for internships and full-time work. But Deltasig is not all about work. The brotherhood fostered through the pledge program and within the fraternity is unparalleled. Invitation into the fraternity is only extended to those candidates who have proven themselves as not only top students, but also those seeking to truly be a part of a fraternal bond.

Without a doubt, pledging Delta Sigma Pi has been the smartest and best decision I have made at Cal. I found a home amongst some of the brightest individuals who have helped me to grow and mature as a person. I found some of my best friends, and experienced true brotherhood and its unconditional love. If your goal includes getting into Haas, getting a prestigious internship, and finding everlasting friendships, then you’re looking in the right place.

The pledging process is rigorous and demanding, as each pledge will undergo various workshops and professional development program to gain invaluable skills necessary to succeed in the business world. But I welcome you to find out if Delta Sigma Pi is the right organization for you.
