Name: Aliaksandr Hudzilin Pledge Class: Rhoyal Flush Bio: Aliaksandr Hudzilin is a rising senior at Haas and part of the Rhoyal Flush pledge class. Alex was born in Minsk, Belarus. After immigrating to the United States in 2007, he worked various jobs in order to put himself through the community college, where he became fascinated by finance and subsequently co-founded the school's Undergraduate Investment Group. As the recipient of the Frederic Bastiat Scholarship, he spent the summer of 2009 at the CATO University Libertarian Conference in San Diego, CA. He has worked at a variety of companies, including the toy firm Wild Planet, mushroom growing urban startup BTTR Ventures, and Houlihan Lokey, where he worked in the Technology Mergers and Acquisitions group. This summer, Alex interned at Qatalyst - technology focused investment bank. During his leisure time, Alex collects books and listens to 80s melodic rock music. He also enjoys hiking, rock-climbing, surfing, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He would like to learn Aikido or Krav Maga. |
