Bio: Nanxi Liu is a senior and part of the ReignMakers pledge class. Interested in engineering, government, and business, Nanxi has worked as an intern for Cisco Systems in the Application Control Engine product division, as a finance intern for US Senator Michael Bennet, and as a summer municipal derivatives trading analyst at Citigroup New York. This past summer, Nanxi was an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs. Nanxi served as the 2010-2011 Executive Vice President for UC Berkeley's student government where she spearheaded several major initiatives including leading a course on policy-making. In spring 2011, Nanxi was selected as a Haas International Business Fellow to conduct research in foreign exchange trading. As someone who enjoys a number sports, Nanxi especially likes to play tennis. In addition, she has fun learning computer languages, composing and performing piano music, and teaching herself gymnastics during her free time. Nanxi was born in China and she grew up in Colorado.
